“Brock’s guitars are true works of musical art. The craftsmanship of my custom 12 string and double neck is unmatched by any other guitar I have played- and I’ve played them all. When I tour, I need a guitar that can stay stable across all kinds of climate & weather changes. My Stoyko guitars are more stable in terms of setup and tuning than anything else I bring on the road, and they are such joys to play. They feel, look, and sound perfect. It’s been a joy to get to know Brock Stoyko and call him my friend. The collaboration we have had over the course of the last few years has been incredibly rewarding. He is a masterful luthier and a hell of a guy.”
“I have known Brock since he was 12 years old.About 5 years ago, Brock took a detour in his career and decided to go to Vancouver Island to learn to be a luthier. Upon completion of his course, we reconnected after several years.I have 18 guitars and play left-handed. After some back and forth discussions, I decided to be Brock’s first commission build. I already have a Larrive DV-09, a Taylor 716, a guild D70, a Martin 12 string , a Yamaki and a Velazquez Classical from Mexico.I was looking for something totally different so decided to go with a OM style Walnut guitar.Brock had a nice selection of woods, so I chose a Western Redwood Cedar top, Walnut back and sides and a Mahogany neck with Ebony fretboard.Upon completion and delivery, I was blown away with the appearance of the guitar. Most people I have shown it to, agree. Nicest looking acoustic they have ever seen.Brock was able to replicate the neck of my Taylor 716 so it is a dream to play.As for tone, it is a totally unique sounding guitar. It has a chocolatey richness to it.It is different than the above-mentioned guitars, but would definitely go toe to toe with them for quality. A very satisfied customer.”
“Brock crafted not only the most stunning bass I’ve ever seen, but also the most comfortable bass I’ve ever played.”
